Conrad A. Saurage

Conrad A. Saurage, a native of Baton Rouge, LA and a resident of Prairieville, LA passed away Monday, April 3, 2023 at the age of 87. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Visitation at St. John Catholic Church, 15208 Hwy 73, Prairieville, LA on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 from 10:30 AM until 11:30AM. The Funeral Mass will begin 11:30 AM. Conrad was a US Army Veteran, he loved hunting, fishing, and spending time with family and friends. He graduated from Redemptorist High School in 1954, worked at Bonfanti Marine for 10 years before going to work at Borden Chemical in Geismar for the rest of his career. He is survived by his sister, Mary Rose Cronan; nephews and nieces, Alfred Saurage, Michael Saurage, Val Saurage, Jerry Saurage, Mickey Cronan, Jeff Cronan, Robert Cronan, Kristie Cronan Rigby, Steve Riene, Greg Reine, and Valerie Reine Clark; stepchildren, Lynne Mattson, Robert Kennedy and Patrick Kennedy; grandchildren, Joshua Potter, Jessica Babin, Francesca Kennedy, Miranda Kennedy, Larue Kennedy, Cameron Kennedy and Claire Kennedy; great grandchildren, Maci Babin, Jori Babin, Elijah Potter, Ivy Potter, Asher Kennedy and Isaac Kennedy; and his best friend, Gerald Humphreys. Preceded in death by his parents, Valliere and Thelma Saurage; his wife, Reba Allred Saurage; his sister and husband Martha Ann and Joseph Riene; brother and wife, Valliere and Mary "Tiny" Saurage; brother-in-law Michael Cronan; and niece, Julie Reine Kerivan.
