DALTON, NH - Connie (Constance which she hated) Joan (Masci) Brocuglio, 85, born June 24, 1938, passed peacefully on November 16, 2023, at Country Village Genesis Healthcare Center, Lancaster, NH. She was educated in Bristol, and attended both St. Anthony's School and Bristol High School.
Connie previously lived in Bristol, Hartford and Bloomfield, Ct and was a parishioner of St. Anthony's Church Bristol, Ct, St. Patrick's and St. Anthony's church in Hartford, Ct and Christ the King Church in Bloomfield, Ct for many years before moving to Dalton where she was a parishioner of The Gates of Heaven Church in Lancaster NH.
She was predeceased by and is now reunited with her husband Leo C. Brocuglio; her parents William Masci and Philomena (Nestico) Masci; her sister and brother in law Thomas and Frances (Masci) Caves; her step-mother Clara Masci; her brother in law Michael Galante; her sister in law Rita Mabolitti; her brother's in law Patrick Brocuglio Sr. & Leo Bricuglio; her nephews Chuck Brocuglio Sr., Tony Brocuglio, Patrick Brocuglio Jr., Thomas Brocuglio; and her niece Lori Brocuglio.
Connie was a member of the Bloomfield Council of the Columbettes, the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary, and was in the Church Choir at Christ the King Church. She was employed at the Aetna Insurance Company as an auto typist where she met the love of her life Leo Brocuglio and then was an auto typist for G Fox and Company all in Hartford, Ct. She enjoyed playing on her tablet, watching the western channel with her husband, cooking channels, Fast and Furious movies, EWTN, Days of Our Lives, and the Disney Channel and Sponge Bob with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed cooking with her daughter Mary. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, and grandmother.
She is survived by her son Joseph Brocuglio and Josephs ISO provider and dear and close friend of the family Paul Konkle of Littleton, NH; her daughter Mary Brocuglio and her boyfriend Robert Sullivan from Dalton, NH and
Windsor, CT, her two grandchildren Isabella "Belle" Brocuglio and Joseph "JP" Rioux of Dalton, NH, her godchild Michael Brocuglio and his wife Jessica of NC; her sister-in-law Ruth Brocuglio in Enfield, CT, Her sister Kathrine (Masci) Galante and brother and sister in law William and Adele Masci from CT. She is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and great nieces and nephews and cousins.
We would like to thank Christopher Laurent, Angelo Vozzella, Taveras, the country Village staff and nursing staff, Lancaster and Whitefield Ambulance and Dalton Fire EMS for all that they have done for Connie through the years.
Memorial visiting hours will be held Saturday, December 16th, from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Bailey Funeral Home, Lancaster, NH. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 1:30 PM at All Saints Church, Lancaster. Reverend Britto Adaikalam, pastor, will concelebrate with Reverend Daniel Deveau, pastor of St. Francis Xavier Church, Groveton. A service will also be held in Connecticut on December 22, 2023, from 5:00 pm-7:00 pm at Carmon Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave.
