Naugatuck - Constance "Connie" Brush, 87, passed away on Friday, September 19, 2025. She was the wife of the late Charles H. Brush.
Mrs. Brush was born November 21, 1937, in Eagle Lake, Maine, the daughter of the late Fred and Irene (Lamore) Gagnon. She was a longtime Naugatuck resident where she was a dedicated member of the Beacon Valley Grange and was very involved with St Michael's Episcopal Church. She enjoyed selling Amway and was employed at Murphy's and retired from Bristol Babcock. She had a love for lottery scratch offs and playing Bingo along with spending time with family any time she could.
Connie is survived by her sons Charles H. Brush Jr. and his wife Kathy of Southbury, Robert Brush and his wife Sue of Waterbury; her daughters Caroline O'Bar and her husband Clyde of Inlet, NY and Kimberly Tompkins and her husband Jim of Prospect and her brother James Gagnon of Naugatuck. She is deeply loved by her grandchildren Michael Brush and his wife Ashley, Garrett Brush and his wife Olivia, James Tompkins and his wife Erica, Carrie O'Bar and her fiance Joel, Lauren Bedard and her husband Bryce, Tyler Brush, Cameron O'Bar and his wife SheaLynn, Jonathan Brush and his fiance Chrissi and Tori O'Bar as well as 8 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Arrangements – Visitation will be held on Friday September 26, 2025 from 4 to 7 pm at the Buckmiller Ford Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave., Naugatuck. On Saturday, Mrs. Brush's funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 9:30 and proceed to St. Michael's Episcopal Church for a funeral service at 10 am. Burial will follow in Grove Cemetery.
