Constance Susan Misner was born May 22, 1960, in Royal Oak, Michigan. She was born to the union of Thomas Fred Misner and Eleanor Dorothy (Shefield) Misner. She grew up in Hazel Park, Michigan where she was educated, graduating from Hazel Park High School with the Class of 1978.
Connie continued her education at Central Michigan University where she earned her business degree. After the market crash she took additional classes at Monroe County Community College in construction management. She thrived in this atmosphere and finished at the top of her class and was given the opportunity to speak at the class commencement ceremony.
She retired in October of 2025 from Bartec, an employee services provider at Ford Motor Company working at the world headquarters.
Connie married Jeffrey John Huff on June 2, 1999, at Chapel of Little Flower in Las Vegas, Nevada. The couple enjoyed many activities together. Being outside brought her great joy whether she was tent camping with Jeff from time to time or spending time on the water canoeing. She enjoyed perennial gardening and Jeff cared for a vegetable garden allowing Connie to can. She also loved to sew and often quilted with her mother-in-law: Susan. Connie and Jeff enjoyed spending time together at their Up North retreat on Saginaw Bay near Port Austin.
She was an avid hometown fan, cheering on her beloved Detroit teams, the Tigers, Lions, and Red Wings.
Constance Susan "Connie" Misner Huff, age 65 of Maybee passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday; December 3, 2025, at her home. She had been in declining health due to debilitating diseases the past seven years. Her passing was preceded by her parents and a brother: Jerry Misner.
To cherish her memory, she leaves two brothers: Thomas Misner and Richard Misner; a sister: Joan; her mother-in-law: Susan Huff; a brother-in-law: Michael Joseph (Linda) Huff of Monroe; a sister-in-law: Charlotte (Thomas) Holmes of Dallas, Texas; and three nieces and nephews: Ryan, Rachel, and Dana.
No public services are planned at this time. Her care has been entrusted to Merkle Funeral Service, North Monroe; 2442 North Monroe Street, Monroe, Michigan 48162 (734) 384-5185. Cremation has taken place through Covenant Cremation of Erie, Michigan, a division of Merkle Enterprises, Inc.
