Constance 'Connie' Louise Light, Of Frankford, Missouri, and formerly St Louis County, Missouri, passed away peacefully May 31, 2025 at the Country View Nursing Home, in Bowling Green, MO. Connie was born March 16, 1951 of Nola and Lawrence Pattengill, and lived in Millersville as the youngest surviving child. Then moved to Woodson Terrace in 1962, and graduated from Ritenour High School in 1969.
Connie worked in accounting for decades, and married Billy Light on Dec 6, 2008. After retiring from HOK architecture she moved full time to their new house in Frankford, MO to be with Bill full time. Connie was a member of Salem Baptist Church in Florissant, MO for decades. Most recently she enjoyed the preaching of Mark Drazba at the Abundant Life Church in New London, MO. She enjoyed attending church, playing hand bells in the church choir, planting flowers, many crafting projects, playing board games, family game night, She also enjoyed chocolate, Wibbs BBQ, and pot lucks. She had the shoes, and jewelry to match each outfit perfectly. Connie loved to travel, see new things and sit in her rocking chair. Gifts from her would be sunflower oil from the local sunflower farm or lavender from the lavender fields she visited. She was a a loving and loved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, step-mother, and daughter, and will be missed by greatly.
She is survived by her her husband Billy Light. two children Lara Mullen, and Matthew (Nicki Hanna) Bunch, and one grandchild Gabrielle Bunch, her sister Carolyn (Allan) Crader, and brother Larry (Susan) Pattengill. As well as sister-in-law; Wanda, and brother-in- laws, Bob, Larry, Johnny, Raymond, and Kenny, and three step daughters. In addition to her parents She was preceded in death by a sister Linda Jo, brother in-law Michael.
Some of her favorite sayings; and things she will be forever remembered by "Just ducky" "Yeah but? Yabbits only come at Easter" Since yous up" (honoring her father). "well, kiddo". "my FAVorite son" or "my FAVorite daughter"
A memorial visitation will take place at Hutchens-Stygar Funeral & Cremation Center on Friday, June 6, 2025 from 4-5pm with the service beginning at 5pm. Visitation will continue after the service until 7pm.
