Constance Muratori Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels & Cremation Services on Feb. 24, 2025.
It is with profound sadness that we share the news of the loss of our mother, Constance "Connie" Muratori. She passed away peacefully at home on February 21, 2025, with her children and their spouses by her side. Connie was born on June 8, 1932, in Springfield, MA, to the late Arthur and Rose (Bernier) Arsenault. She was preceded in death by her husband Walter (Tuno) Muratori, her grandson, Matthew Michael Traynor, and her siblings, Rita, Maxime, William and Lorraine. She is survived by her dear sister, Jeanette.
Connie and Tuno shared 50 wonderful years together and were blessed with five children, ensuring that she was always surrounded by family and love. Left to cherish her memory are her four daughters and sons-in-law, Cathy (Scott) Hesser, Virginia (Ralph) Powers, Lynn (James) Cunningham, Janet (Michael) Traynor, and her son and daughter-in-law, James (Monica) Muratori.
Left to mourn the loss of their beloved Grammy are her 16 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren, each of whom was graced by her love and kindness. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.
Connie was a role model for all of us with unending energy. She would cook from morning until evening, hosting large family dinners either at her home or beach house on Narragansett Bay. She never slowed down and refused to retire until well into her 80s. Her most beloved quality was her ability to open her heart to anyone she met. Connie was a pillar of strength for her family, never wavering in her love and devotion to all that were blessed to be a part of her life.
Per Connie's wishes, services and burial are private and at the convenience of the family.
