Constance Marie Planer

Constance Marie (Gerringer) Planer, 87, of Mountainhome, PA, passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at Lehigh Valley Hospital Pocono.
Born in Danville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Harvey and Della (Haas) Gerringer. Constance is the beloved wife of William Hubert Planer with whom she shared 60 years of marriage. A woman of faith and family, Constance found fulfillment serving her church community in various ways over the years. Constance worked as a lunch lady for the Pocono Mountain School District, volunteered at Barrett Paradise Friendly Library, and spent the bulk of her career as a medical assistant. To her family and friends, she will be remembered as a steadfast parent, trusted confidant, and all-around lovely person to be with.
Constance will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Gwen Blake and husband Chris, Jill Planer and husband Kenneth Rupert and Kelly Planer and husband David Coin; son, Daniel Planer and his wife Karen (Barber) Planer; sister-in-law, Jean Gerringer; grandchildren, Ian William Acciarito and wife Christa Kattner-Acciarito, Taylor Joseph Acciarito, Kylene Planer and fiancé Brett Snyder, Matthew Planer and Phoebe Marie Blake; great-grandchild, Willow Patricia Rose Snyder, and nephew, Stephen Gerringer.
Constance is preceded in death by her grandson Jason Acciarito, brother Kenneth Gerringer, and nephew Randy Gerringer.
Services will be held on Friday, July 5, 2024, at New Covenant Christian Community Church, 126 South Church Street, Macungie, PA, at 2 PM.
