Bernice M Planer

Bernice M. Planer, 97, of Brick, passed away on Thursday June 27, 2024, at Ocean Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Bernice was born and raised in Belmar and had been a resident of the shore area her whole life. She was a para-professional for Wall Township Board of Education. Bernice was a communicant of St Martha Church, Point Pleasant, NJ. She resided in Cedar Village, where she was a very active member participating in numerous activities such as bowling, bocce, and the Red Hats.
Bernice was predeceased by her husband of 67 years, Walter F. Planer, Sr. in 2016, and her parents Anthony and Josephine Younizzie, and her brother Benjamin. She is survived by her loving children, Walter F. Planer, Jr., Marianne (Karl) Stahl, Barbara (Bill) Feiss, Cathy Planer, and Karen (Geoff) Bunt. Bernice was the cherished grandmother of seven and great grandmother of seven.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Tuesday July 2, 2024, from 9-10 am at Orender Family Home for Funerals 2643 Old Bridge Road Manasquan, NJ 08736. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 am on Tuesday July 2, 2024, at St Martha's Church 3800 Herbertsville Road Point Pleasant, NJ 08742.
