Constance E. Ramer

Constance Elizabeth Ramer "Connie", age 82 of "Oak Valley" Deptford Twp., NJ passed away on Tuesday, December 30, 2025. Born in Paulsboro, NJ to the late Roy Myers and Violet (nee Fetter), she was raised in Billingsport and graduated from Paulsboro High School Class of 1961. On December 29, 1961 she married the love of her life, James V. Ramer who died on April 18, 2025. Connie and Jim moved to Oak Valley in 1972 and raised two children together. Connie was a former member of Southwood Baptist Church and was a preschool teacher for Little People Day Nursery & Preschool. She enjoyed keeping her home clean & organized and loved spending time with her family.
Wife of the late James V. Ramer, she has two children, Crystal Hanrahan & her husband, Dave, and Todd Ramer & his wife, Holly; eight grandchildren, Shaunessy Sneller & her husband, Nathan, David Hanrahan & his wife, Lara, Nate Hanrahan & his wife, Ashlyn, Ian Hanrahan & his wife, Kristin, Michael Hanrahan, Reid Ramer, Jacob Ramer, & Luke Ramer; great grandchildren, Hannah Sneller, Elliot Hanrahan, Bonnie Hanrahan, Clare Hanrahan, Theo Hanrahan, and Noah Sneller. She was predeceased by her brother, Raymond Myers.
Relatives and friends may visit from 9 am to 10 am on Friday, January 16th at Smith Funeral Home, 47 Main Street, Mantua, NJ where a funeral service will be held at 10 am. Interment will follow in Eglington Cemetery in Clarksboro. As an expression of sympathy, contributions can be made to the Bridgeport NJ Fire Company, 4 Steelman Avenue, Logan Township, NJ 08014.
