Born on December 2, 1959, in Richmond, Virginia, she was known for her outspoken nature, her remarkable sense of humor, and her unwavering directness that often brought smiles to those around her.
Constance dedicated her career to improving the well-being of others as a dietitian at VCU Healthcare and Henrico Doctors' Hospital. Her commitment to her profession was matched only by her devotion to her family. Constance was immensely proud of her role as a mother and grandmother, highlighting her greatest accomplishment as raising her three sons, Theo, Che, and Devin, and nurturing her two grandchildren, Starr Charnita Burleigh and Quinci Matthew.
She cherished her relationships with her two sisters, Patricia Otey and Mary Beasley, and had a profound and meaningful connection with her several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends who will hold her memory dear.
