Constance Rowe Obituary

Constance L. (Fiedor) Rowe
October 24, 1947 - September 4, 2025
Constance "Connie", Age 77, is survived by her husband, Wendell, daughter, Andrea Rowe-Bush (Justin), sisters Sandra Van Etten and Marlene Rowe (Dana), as well as many nieces, nephews and step-grandchildren who will miss her dearly. She is preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Stella Fiedor, and her brother-in-law, James Van Etten.
Connie was the oldest of three sisters. At a young age, Connie's creativity shone through when designing outfits for her paper dolls. Her caring nature was evident when doting on her cats. She grew up in Detroit, Michigan, where she attended Epiphany Catholic Grade School and Mackenzie High School. During which time, Connie and her sister enjoyed fun times at Big Boy, Daly's and A&W drive-ins.
After high school, Connie attended Henry Ford Community College and worked at Federal's Department Store in gift wrap where her talent for creating beautifully wrapped gifts quickly became her signature. She later worked as a supervisor at Michigan Bell Telephone Company.
In 1979, Connie married Wendell and the following year they welcomed their daughter, Andrea. Connie devoted herself fully to motherhood, serving as a room mother, caring for her family, and building a home filled with love in Novi, Michigan, for over 30 years.
Connie loved being near water. Visiting Mrytle Beach and Paradise, Michigan were some of her favorite family vacations. In retirement, Connie and her husband enjoyed their lakefront condo in Northville, Michigan. As a pastime, Connie created lovely silk floral arrangements. Word games and crossword puzzles were also favorite hobbies.
Connie loved the fall season and Halloween-so much so that her screams in haunted houses often frightened even the actors! Connie especially enjoyed shopping and movie nights with her daughter, Andrea.
More than anything, Connie cherished her time with family, whether sharing laughter, looking through photo albums, or snuggling with her granddogs and grandcats. Connie's warmth, humor, and love will remain forever in the hearts of those who were fortunate to have her in their lives. Following her wishes cremation has taken place.
A Celebration of Life to honor Connie's life will be held at the Steve's Ranch (311 W Louis Glick Hwy, Jackson, Michigan) on Saturday, October 25, 2025, beginning at 1 pm until 3 pm. Please RSVP to [email protected] by October 18.
