Constance (Connie) Sanchez, 87, beloved Mother, Daughter, Sister, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Great Great Grandmother was called home on March 30, 2024 surrounded by her loving children.

She entered this world on January 3, 1937 in Albuquerque, NM, born to Simon and Constance Seligman. She is survived by 6 children; Madeline Gonzales (Dennis), Teresa Ferguson (Robert), Donald Sanchez Jr (Sally), Lorraine Castillo (Reggie), Yvette Matamoros (Gabe) and Michael Seligman. 16 Grandchildren, 34 Great Grandchildren, 7 Great Great Grandchildren, bonus son Edgar Sanchez and brother Milton Seligman (Shirley).

Connie worked hard, often two or three jobs to raise her six children on her own and did an outstanding job.  Connie enjoyed to travel the world but her favorite trips were to Dallas to see the Dallas Cowboys play, when not at the game she was watching the game on TV yelling louder than anyone. She also enjoyed visiting Las Vegas and Laughlin NV. Most of all Connie loved her family and would do anything for them.  She never met a stranger and always had a smile on her face to brighten any room. Connie loved country and western dancing and won numerous dance contests. She loved holiday baking with her kids and grandkids. Although you are not supposed to have a favorite child, Connie did and all of her kids accepted that Michael was her favorite.

Everyone who met Connie immediately fell in love with her. Connie was the most kind, caring, giving, loving person anyone could meet and she gave the best hugs ever. She will be greatly missed and never forgotten.  Heaven gained the best angel and we all look forward to seeing her again.Rosary will be held Saturday, April 6 at 9am at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church - 619 Copper Ave NW, Albuquerque with Mass immediately following. There will be celebration of life reception following the mass at the Bernalillo County Sherriff's Posse 10308 2nd St, Albuquerque NM.
