Constance Ann "Connie" Talbot

Constance Ann "Connie" (Shea) Talbot, 74, of Danvers, passed away Sunday, February 15th after a courageous battle with illness. She was the beloved wife of 22 years to the late John Talbot of Danvers.

Born in Marblehead on March 7th, 1951, to the late Francis and Margaret (Paine) Shea, she attended Marblehead High School, graduating with the Class of 1969. After high school, she earned a bachelor's degree from Salem University. For many decades, she worked as an administrator for the MTA (Massachusetts Teacher's Association), enriching the lives of countless educational professionals in the Bay State. Prior to working at MTA, she was employed by the United Shoe Corp.

Connie had a zest for life and she and John did so enjoy traveling to many exciting places. She had a green thumb as well, working with all her plants and flowers.

Connie had a very soft spot for the love of her kitties.

Connie is survived by her sisters, Kathleen LaPointe of Beverly; Patricia Hartnett and her husband Richard of Revere; she was surrounded by cousins and many nieces and nephews.

Connie was predeceased by her husband, John Talbot, and her parents Frank and Margaret Shea.

Her funeral service will be at the Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, Beverly, on Wednesday, February 25th, at 1:00 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours prior to the service from 12:00 p.m.to 1:00 p.m. Donations may be made in Connie's memory to the MSPCA at Nevin's Farm.
