Constance Taylor Obituary
Constance "Connie" Taylor, age 74, passed away peacefully at home on December 20, 2025, in Billings, Montana, following a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was surrounded by love, with her husband Ed and her faithful dogs, Precious and Peaches, at her side.
Connie was born on July 28, 1951, in Harlowton, Montana, to John and Doris Freeser. She spent many of her early years living on a ranch outside of Harlowton, where she developed a strong work ethic and a deep appreciation for family and home. She later moved to Billings, Montana, and graduated from Billings Senior High School in 1969.
Later in life, Connie returned to school, demonstrating her determination and love of learning. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and a Master's Degree in Human Services, graduating in 2004 from Montana State University–Billings.
Connie was first married to Rick Moran, with whom she had four children. She later met and married Edwin Taylor on April 23, 1999, and the two shared many loving years together.
She was a devoted mother and a proud grandmother. Her family was the center of her life. Connie was known for her thoughtfulness-she never forgot a birthday, anniversary, or holiday, always making others feel remembered and loved.
Connie enjoyed traveling and baking, finding joy both in exploring new places and in sharing homemade treats with those she loved. She also had a deep love for quilting, a craft through which she expressed her creativity and care. Many of her quilts will remain cherished reminders of her love.
She dedicated 30 years of service to St. Vincent Hospital, where she worked as an Environmental Engineer and earned the respect of her coworkers through her commitment and reliability.
Connie is survived by her husband, Ed; her children, Melissa (Jeff) Schroeder, Natalie (Tom) Watson, Cheryl Bubenik, and RJ (Jacqueline) Moran; her grandchildren, Tarrah, Tommy, Mystic, Alex, Christopher, Jayden, Isaac, Morgan, and Hannah; and her brother, Jim (Terry) Freeser, along with their children, Kim, Joni, and Cole. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Doris Freeser.
A funeral service will be held on December 30, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Heights Family Funeral Home, 733 West Wicks Lane, Billings, Montana, 59105.
Connie will be remembered for her quiet strength, kindness, and unwavering devotion to her family. She is now at peace, and her memory will live on through the love she shared and the lives she touched.
