Constance D. (Belba) Vessio, 86 of Worcester passed away November 11, 2023. Born to Lambi and Meropi (Saro) Belba in Dudley, Massachusetts. She was the beloved wife of the late George N. Vessio who passed away in 2008.
Constance worked as a Manager/Administrator for the Rob Roy Academy mentoring many throughout 25 years. Connie also worked for many years with Steffon James Insurance. She was a devout member of the Daughters of St. Mary's always willing to help out where needed.
Constance is survived by her loving children, Peter Vessio and his wife Mary, Paul Vessio and his wife Fiona, and Steven Vessio and his wife Karen; her adored grandchildren, Amanda, Kimberly, Nicholas, Joshua; her cherished 3 great grandchildren, Tristan, Nathan, and Luna; along with many nieces and nephews, and her youngest brother, V. Gerald Belba, whom she shared a special bond. Connie is predeceased by her brothers, Christy and Theodore Belba, and her best friend, Mary Efthim.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, November 15th from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary's Albanian Church, 535 Salsbury Street, Worcester on Thursday, November 16th at 11:00am. Interment will immediately follow at Hope Cemetery, Worcester.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Constance's memory to Holy Trinity Nursing Home, Courtyard, 300 Barber Ave., Worcester, MA 01606. The family would like to thank the staff at Holy Trinity for their wonderful care and kindness to Connie in her time of need.
