Constance Sue Webb, 78, of Toledo, Ohio passed away peacefully in her sleep on February 23, 2026. To all that knew her, she was Connie. She was born in Toledo on May 18, 1947 to Albin Gromnicki and Rose (Ceglio) Navis. Connie was a graduate of Woodward's Class of 1965 and while there, she was a member of the Secretarial Club. Connie was a kind, compassionate soul who found her desire to help others and spent several years as a caregiver for the Little Sister's of the Poor. It was the year of 1967 when she met the love of her life, Larry Webb, and the two were happily married on February 1, 1969. Together, they were married for 46 years until Larry passed away in 2015.
Connie and Larry had quite an adventurous life together. From honeymooning at Niagara Falls, purchasing their yellow, beloved, 1970 Corvette, to the biggest journey and their favorite, having their children Kelly Marie and Jeffry James. Aside from her great joy of being a mom and raising the two cherished joys of her life, Connie absolutely loved reading - her favorite being any and everything Norah Roberts, Tweety Bird, the Ohio State University, Dallas Cowboys, Chicago Cubs (or Bears), going to car shows, Chicago & Frankenmuth especially were her favorite to travel, all animals, and spending time with friends and family. No matter who you were, she called you pumpkin." It was her signature endearment to welcome everyone and greet you with. Everywhere she went, she had unique wooden canes and she loved getting compliments. She loved her jewelry - especially her watches. You can remember. Connie through celebrating her Italian/Polish roots, the color, yellow, and the sunshine-bringing you light.
She is preceded in death by her father Albin Gromnicki, mother Rose Navis, sister Khristine (Krissy) Valdez, husband Larry Webb, and brother Gregory Gromnicki. She is Survived by her ever-loving Family: Children Kelly (Jonathan), Jeffry (Angela), Grandchildren Alyssandra (Timothy) Sophia, brother Timothy Gromnicki, grand pup Dallas, and fur great grand pups Aurora, Athena and Hunny.
Friends will be received at Walker Funeral Home, Oregon (3500 Navarre Ave.) on Friday February 27, 2026 from 4-8 P.M. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday February 28, 2026 at 10 A.M. at All Saints Catholic Church, Rossford (628 Lime City Rd.), where friends will be received after 9 AM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Toledo Humane Society, or any of your favorite local animal shelters, in Connie's memory for her love of all animals.
