Constantine L. "Stan" Morlando

Constantine Leonard "Stan" Morlando, 81, Vestal, NY, passed away March 18, 2023 in the arms of his soulmate of 40 years, Bonnie. Stan was predeceased by his parents, Constantine Morlandt and Mary (Perfetti) Nardiello, step-father, Joseph Nardiello; half-brother, James Morlandt. Stan is survived by his wife, Bonnie Klossner Morlando; children, Mary Constance and Gary Gavin, David Joseph Morlando, Kaylyn and Dean Jones, John and Jennifer Jordan; grandchildren, Johauna, Alivia and Nicholas Morlando, Timothy, Tyler, Jordan and Katlyn Egan, Malin and Keira Jordan, Skylar Jones, Kelly Dean, Kimberly Hren; three great-grandsons, Logan, Oliver and Wyatt Egan; special brother and sister-in-law, Al Klossner and Patricia Knox; mother of his children, Frances; mother of grandchildren, Tara Morlando. A graduate of Syracuse Eastwood High School and Broome Community College, he served in the US Air Force and retired from NYSEG after 34 years of service. He and Bonnie owned and operated Best Bagels in Town of Endwell and Binghamton for 14 years before becoming official Florida snowbirds. His proudest footprint was providing smiles to hundreds of children for 24 years as Santa Claus at the annual NYSEG Christmas Party. He was most happy riding his John Deere mower, polishing his Mercedes, playing video poker and enjoying a good cigar with Sinatra. Special appreciation for the extraordinary care provided by Dr. Susan Choi and Patricia Knox. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego, NY. Burial will be in the Tioga Cemetery.
