David Joseph Morlando

David "Dave" Morlando, of Johnson City, NY, went to be with the lord on October 10, 2025, at the age of 52. A loving and devoted father, David leaves behind his cherished children: Johauna, Alivia, and Nicholas Morlando, who were the center of his world. He is predeceased by his beloved parents, Frances Hopkins Morlando and Constantine Morlando. He is survived by the mother of his children, Tara Morlando; his stepmother, Bonnie Klossner Morlando; his sister, Mary (Gary) Morlando Gavin; his sister, Kaylyn (Dean) Jones; and his brother, John (Jen) Jordan. A lifetime resident of the area, David was the former baker for his family business, Best Bagels in Town, Endwell. Known for his attention to detail, dedication, and consistency, David took pride in his skill as a baker. He was always so proud to provide the "best" bagel. David was a fun, loving, and passionate father who found endless joy in supporting his children. Whether it was cheering from the sidelines or just being there to provide support and good advice, he was always present and proud. He found delight in the small quirky things, especially monkeys, aliens, outer space, knickknacks, and funky stickers. His favorite brand was Adidas, which he incorporated into his daily outfits, showing an extension of his unique spirit and individuality. He loved being surrounded by nature at his home, sitting back to watch a good Mafia movie, and listening to his portable radio; these were just a few of the things that made him smile. In the early '90s, David found a second home in the world of raving and techno music. He embraced the energy, freedom, and sense of community that defined the scene. That love of music stayed with him throughout his life. A memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday October 22nd at 10:00am at Church of the Holy Family, 3600 Phyllis Street, Endwell, NY. David's memory will always be cherished, his spirit remembered, and his presence missed deeply by all who knew and loved him. "Just keep dancing."
