Constantino (JR) A Martinez is survived by his son Constantino A Martinez III, his Fur Baby Woofina, Father Constantino A Martinez Sr., Mother Yolanda Martinez, sister Christina Martinez, brother Steven Martinez, his Niece Annaise G. Brown, Nephew and Godson Esai R. Martinez, sons Mother Trivia Llanas and family. Brother/Friends Justin Gonzalez, Mario Guerrero, Erin Meyer and her children, his Dark Horse Family and Gus's Fried Chicken Family. A host of Family and Friends he was Loved by many and will be missed.
Dad is a title he wore proudly was given to him when his son Constantino A. Martinez, III aka "Papas" was born in 2003. Along with his son's mother, Trivia Llanas, they raised a wonderful young man. His son was his whole world, and he did everything he could for him. His son is an amazing man, taking after his father, and continuing to live in his memory.
Tino Jr was the namesake of his father, Constantino Sr, his first born son. Growing up in Middle School Tino would accompany his father on the weekends in the painting and remodeling family business. He made his money to keep his cell phone and buy his Armani and JNCO Jeans. He continued to work throughout high school and college. When Tino Sr speaks of Jr, he doesn't call him by name, but proudly calls him "my son." While working the family business Tino learned the skill of electrical work and handyman and continued that trade.
Tino was everything a son could be to his mother Yolanda, he was goofy, he was kind, loving, and such a jokester. His favorite line was "No Nintendo", when asked something he didn't want to do, or in response to a question. His laugh and smile were infectious. Jr was her left-hand man, always fixing things, and taking the pups to their vet appointments. Jr was a great big brother to Steven by taking him to his appointments and buying him the food he wanted, even though it wasn't part of his diet and his sister was greatly opposed to. His famous phrase, "nothing to see here." Lol. JR always thought of him when it came to lunch, dinner or snacks. He always made sure Steven was fed. Always joking with Steven, your not hungry Steven right, Steven just laughed right along with him. Those Golden Oreos though, never lasted more than a day.
"My little big brother," how he was affectionately called by his sister, Christina. Even though he was younger, he acted as if he was the eldest. He was constantly annoying her as a brother should but always made sure she was doing well, had what she needed for her children and herself. Anytime she called he was there for her.
Tio Monster, a name given to him lovingly by his niece Annaise, was a loving and a caring Tio. He was always spoiling her with things her mother would say no to, like sweets at night, or he'd sneak her snow cones, and say "nothing to see here".. lol. She loved him so much and he always made sure that she was taken care of and wanted for nothing. When Tio Monster found out he was going to be a Tio for a second time he was thrilled. His sister asked him to be her son's Godfather, and when the Deacon asked him how he felt about it, he responded, "It was an honor and he was proud". Tio Monster loved his Godson so much, always giving him 'cosquillas' and making him laugh with silly faces. He will be greatly missed by his niece and nephew but will always be in their minds and hearts.
Jr was a wonderful cousin, always there when they needed him. His cousin Jimmy has so many wonderful memories when they went out of town for work, they were always telling stories reminiscing over good times. When they were together, it was always a fun time cooking crawfish and fighting over the mushrooms. Jr was always buying things for Jimmy's kids, bringing them Takis snacks and healthy drinks, no soda allowed lol. Tino liked to play around with the kids jokingly fighting with them, teasing them and always making sure they were good.
Tino, or Tino Jr as he was referred to by family and friends never knew a stranger. Everywhere he went he made friends, left a wonderful impression on them. He was a true friend to many and always lent a helping hand. He loved hanging out with his friends at Dark Horse, which he referred to as "The Office" playing darts and making friends laugh. He was once asked if he was any good at darts, and replied '"No" but he never stopped playing. In true fashion, Tino met a patron at Dark Horse (the regional operations manager of Gus's Chicken) named Anthony., Tino quickly became friends and began working with Gus's Fried Chicken and quickly became part of their family. At their soft opening, they forgot to include the macaroni for his niece and years later, Tino jokingly never let them forget it. Tino often invited the entire crew of Gus's Fried Chicken to family get togethers, and almost always bringing home chicken to the family.
Tino was a brother to many friends, especially Justin Gonzales and Mario Guerrero. Justin met Tino back in 2016 when Justin had moved to a new location and he went out to Dark Horse one evening. There he met Tino, and shortly after they met, Justin was invited to Tino's house for crawfish and they became brothers. Justin said they became friends quickly because of Tino's huge heart, and welcoming nature. Tino was always there for Justin and in turn Justin did the same for him. He met the rest of Tino's family and that was it, Justin was family, and always will be. Mario met Tino in 2014 when his neighbor Nacho brought him over to Dark Horse. Mario remembers when he ran out of gas around 7 AM and he gave Tino a call while he was waiting in line at the vet. Tino along with his son, went to help him without hesitation. Anyone that knows Tino, knows he doesn't wake up early lol. Mario says "Tino was a true brother." His friend Boogie met him at Dark Horse as well. Boogie recalls Tino being one of the guys to come see him in the ICU after his surgery. Tino organized a fundraiser for Boogie to help pay for his surgery. That was the kind of guy Tino was and will always be remembered for his kindness.
Jr will forever be with us. His kind heart and child like silliness will live on through those whose lives he touched. He always had a kind word, a corny joke or a big bear hug for those he called family and friends. Our lives have been made better by his presence and he will be greatly missed. In his memory we will laugh a little louder, smile a little bigger and help others as he did. We love you 'Our Captain America', our beloved Jr.

Tino was the first person I met when I moved to back to Houston. He was my first real friend back in middle school we walked home everyday together, laughing almost the entire time. I never forgot you and never will
