Cora A. Kurpell, 98, of Hazlet, passed away on Saturday, February 17th, at home. She was born in Elizabeth and in 1957 settled down in Hazlet.
Cora worked for Bayside Manor in the kitchen, when she worked. She was a communicate of St. Ann's Church, loved to cook and play Bingo.
Cora was pre-deceased by her parents, Thomas and Amelia Fiorillo her husband, Bernard Kurpell and her grandchild, Thomas Jannaco.
She is survived by her daughters, Barbara O'Brien of Little Egg Harbor, Amelia "Bunny" (Martin) Flynn of Keansburg and Linda Jannaco of Pennsylvania; five grandchildren, Dawn Smith, Ann Marie Flynn Woodward (John), Michael (Jennifer) Flynn, Wayne Kurpell and John (Shannon) Jannaco Jr.; thirteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave. Keansburg. Cremation will be private.
