Obituary

Mother Cora W. Owens entered eternal rest and peacefully transitioned from time into eternity, now resting in the loving arms of her Savior.

Cora was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, and a pillar of strength to her family. She lived a life marked by love, sacrifice, and faith. Her home was a place of comfort, wisdom, and guidance, and she cared not only for her own children but for anyone who needed a mother's heart. She loved deeply and gave freely. Her legacy will continue through every life she touched.

She was preceded in death by her son, Jackie Owens Jr.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories her devoted husband, Jackie Owens, of the home; four daughters, Angela Colvin, Jamey Wimbley, Jacqueline Johnson (husband Timothy Johnson), and Danielle Owens, all of Sanford, North Carolina; three sons, Daniel Owens, Michael Owens, and Samuel Owens (wife Priscilla), all of Sanford, North Carolina; twenty-one grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, along with extended family and friends whose lives were impacted by her love and prayers.

Though she is no longer with us in body, the love she poured into her family still lives in our hearts. Her faith carried her through life, and now her faith has become sight.

"The family will also receive visitors daily from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM at the family home: 1001 S. Vance St. Sanford, NC."

In honor of our beloved mother, we invite family and friends to join us in wearing burgundy, hunter green, or cream as we celebrate her beautiful life. If you are able, please participate in this tribute as a visible expression of unity and love. Above all, your presence is the greatest gift.

"We do not own copyrights to the background music."

Thank you for helping us protect the families and communities we serve.
