Cora Robinson

Our beloved Cora May Robinson-Bentley sadly passed away on April 4, 2024, at the age of 70. She was born on April 27, 1953, to Rosia Ward in Eutaw, Alabama and raised in Akron, Ohio. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother who was always there when you needed her.
Cora attended Akron Public Schools and graduated from North High School. After graduation she went on to study Culinary Arts at the University of Toledo. She was hired by Olive Garden Restaurants where she worked as a cook for over 35 years.
If not working Cora loved listening to old school R&B, which she called "dusties", eating her son's food, watching NCIS and Law and Order, and most of all spending quality time with her children, grandchildren, relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by Paul Robinson and Arthur Mingo.
Memorial Services will be held Friday, April 19, 2024, 1:00 pm, Sommerville Funeral Services.
She leaves to cherish precious memories; mother, Rosia Ward; Son, Lavale (Katrisha) Crandall; four grandsons, Lavale Crandall Jr., Anfenee Crandall, DeVante Scurry and Brandon Scurry; one granddaughter, Amia Nichole Crandall; eleven great-grandchildren, and a host of sisters-in-law, brothers-in law, nieces, nephews, cousin, other relatives and friends.
