Cora Stone Obituary
Cora lived a long life rooted in her love for God & her family. She was a faithful wife, a devoted mother, a loving grandma & great grandma. Her life was a reflection of her love for God, devotion & faith. Although she had obstacles in her life, she was at church every Sunday serving the lord.
Cora found joy in going to bingo with friends & family, everyone knew her there, and it was almost like a second family to her. More importantly, she loved spending time with her great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Rev. R.L. Stone, her mother & father, her daughters, Glenda Warren & Beverly Herron & her favorite cousin, Augustine Mathis.
She is survived by her daughter, Tameka Warren, her grandchildren, Jessica, Jennifer, & Jamie Warren, children of Glenda. Naquin & Walter Jr. Herron, Children Of Beverly, & Bianca Tillman(Warren) & Da'Shanta Warren, Children of Tameka.
Services will be held on Friday, January 23rd at Brookside Funeral Home, from 2:00pm - 8:00pm
