Cora Jane Workman, age 89, of Hardee County, Florida, passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2024, in Sebring, FL. She was a devoted member of The Church and held a non-denominational faith. Cora spent her days as a loving homemaker, caring for her husband and children. She found joy in sewing, making dresses for her girls out of flour sacks, quilting, solving word searches, cooking, and spending time with her beloved dog, Lily. Cora is preceded in death by her parents, Harvey Baldwin and Edith Bowman, her daughter Joyce Pickard, brothers Herb Baldwin, James Baldwin, and Raymond Baldwin, and sisters Helen Baldwin and Eleanor Baldwin. She is survived by her loving husband of 72 years, Henry Workman, and her children: John Workman (Dee) of Harrisburg, PA; Paul Workman (Linda) of Red Lion, PA; Reggie Workman (Denise) of Zolfo Springs, FL; Charles Workman of Okeechobee, FL; Thelma Wolfe (Roger) of Wauchula, FL; and Macel Willis (Dwaine) of Wauchula, FL. Cora is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. Graveside funeral services were held at Oak Grove Cemetery on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at 10:00 am, with Pastor Dwaine Willis officiating the services. Cora will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family, her dedication to her faith, and her kind and nurturing spirit. May she rest in peace.
