Corana Lisee Obituary

She was the founder of the Taftville Little League Ladies Auxiliary. She loved knitting, crocheting, cross-stitching and donating items to organizations. She was also known for her cake decorating...even unknowingly making her own 25th anniversary cake.
Corana was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church in Taftville. On July 4, 1951 she married the love of her life Joseph (Fern) Lisee at Sacred Heart Church in Taftville. He passed away April 15, 2019.
She is survived by three sons Dennis Lisee (Diane), Ronald Lisee (Cindy), and Roger Lisee (Lucie); four daughters Doreen Brennan (Brian), Loriann Lisee (Ed), Debra Rivard (Tom) & Karen Jones (David, Jr.). She also leaves numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband, Corana was predeceased by two grandsons Travis Brennan and Joe-Allyn Gilman, and numerous brothers and sisters.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, August 16, 2025 at 10:00AM at Sacred Heart Church in Taftville, meet directly at church. Burial to follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Harland Road in Norwich. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CT.Wish.org or https://suicidepreventionlifeline.org.
