Susan K. Lisee Saginaw Twp., Michigan
Beloved wife, mother and grandmother passed away peacefully on Monday, March 31, 2025, at Covenant HealthCare-Cooper, surrounded by her loving family. Sue was born on April 25, 1947, in Saginaw to the late Charles and Roberta (Klein) Teenier. She was a proud graduate of Arthur Hill High School, Class of 1965, and went on to earn her associate degree from Delta College. She dedicated 49 years to her career as a dental assistant, retiring in 2012. On June 8, 1968, Sue married the love of her life, James J. Lisee, and together they shared 56 wonderful years of marriage. Their life was filled with love, laughter, and the joy of family. Sue's heart was always open to others. She gave selflessly to her community, volunteering countless hours with the American Cancer Society's Reach to Recovery program and serving on the Relay for Life committee. A devoted member of Christ the Good Shepherd Parish – St. Helen Catholic Church, she found great purpose in supporting funeral luncheons and lending a helping hand wherever needed. Above all, Sue cherished her family, especially her granddaughters. She was an ever-present figure in their lives-picking them up from school, doing crafts together, and sharing in their joys and milestones. She loved spending time with family at the Munger residence on Lake Fenton, baking delicious desserts, and enjoying peaceful afternoons on her front porch with her neighbors. She also found joy in dog-sitting and taking walks with "Rascal."
Sue is survived by her beloved husband, Jim; her daughter, Amy (John) Heintz of Saginaw; and her adored granddaughters, Sara Heintz and Kelly Heintz; a great-grandson, Joel "Little Joel" Parks; her siblings, Mary (Dean) Munger, Rick Teenier, John (Caron) Teenier, Dr. Thomas (Pamela)Teenier; many nieces and nephews. Sue was preceded in death by her siblings, Charles "Mike" (Barb) Teenier, Roberta "Bobbie" Teenier-Ropp.
The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the staff of Covenant HealthCare Cooper 6 North for their loving and compassionate care.
