I will always remember him! He responded a few times throughout his time at SoJo to my parents home when my dad was having pretty severe insulin reactions (they got to the point that when they heard the address or Terry Allen from dispatch, they knew right where they were going) I´ll never forget a few times Corban and I spoke while my dad was being treated (which was one thing he did to help family members relax) one of the first times was when I was expecting my first son in Feb 2003, when he had just started at SoJo and he asked me if I had a name picked out, I replied that I was naming him Corbin, he gave me grief because I wasn´t spelling it with an A. Another time, my dad HATED the paramedics (nothing against them, he was just stubborn because the paramedics meant that his body was fighting against him) so even with multiple doses of dextrose my dad refused to respond and I said hold on, I´ll get him to respond, so I went and grabbed my Corbin and they all looked at me like I was crazy and Corban was snickering because I told my son to wake up Bampa, my son walked right up to my dad and tapped my dads arm and said Bampa wake up, my dad immediately replied "I´m awake, what do you need buddy" and every single paramedic and fireman in that room (around 6) busted a gut!! It was great! He was exceptional at his job and he will be missed deeply by many SoJo residents. When I opened this story up, I couldn´t believe what I was seeing, the moment I read his name and saw that shiny head my heart instantly broke. What an incredible human he was. I pray for the SoJo department and his family! Give my dad a hard time up there in Heaven, fly high with the angels! You will never be forgotten!

Oh Corban , I don´t even have any words on how much I already miss you. I´m so so grateful I got time with you growing up visiting Sean, there was never a dull moment with you thanks for making me smile with that contagious giggle and smile. I´m really going to miss seeing you when South Jordan goes on an emergency call, and watch you fight those fires. I love you so much thanks for being one of the greatest firefighter friends I could ever ask for, Rest easy and I can´t wait to see you again one day! I love you.
