Corey J. Beasley was born to William A. Robinson and Roxie O. Beasley on November 17th, 1979. Corey was raised in the City of Newark, New Jersey where he was educated by the Newark Public School system. He was well liked amongst his peers and anyone who came in contact with him, leaving a lasting impression. Corey always took time to think about others in need by being supportive in any effort to make a difference. He loved all the children around. Corey's life was fully devoted to his family, friends and helping stray cats. True Animal Lover!
Corey worked for Regal Loading Company located in Union, New Jersey. She drove a forklift to place Rose White in the supermarkets. In Hillside, New Jersey, he worked for Cameo Novelties where he made products and all sorts of pens.
Corey broke his hip in 2018. After he broke his hip his body started changing. Getting a job became very difficult.
Corey was preceded in death by: his little brother, Bobby E. Beasley; his grandmother, Roxann M. Beasley; Godbrother/cousin, Moses E. Beasley; and his lifelong best friend, Rashun Crumbley.
Corey leaves to cherish his memory: his parents, William Robinson and Roxie Beasley; his grandfather, James Medows; sisters and brothers, Nicole (Duane Smith), Ella Mae Beasley, Sakinah Cotton, Katina Ginyard, Sadequa Scott, William and Terry Barba Sr.; his daughter, Mia Hunt; great aunts, Bobbie Beasley and Erma Young; Godmother/cousins, Tammy Beasley and Debra Scott; Godsisters, Hassaner and Dominique Beasley; special niecey, Tieberah Barba; special cousins, Lamont Beasley, Balil Ford, Jabbar and Abdul Mercer; Godchildren, Amajanae, Anai Crumbley and Laila Orr; bonus sisters and brother, Shawanda Culver, Shakira Smih, Yolanda Whitfield, Debra Barba and Raheem Singleton; best friends, Leroy, O'Quan and Christopher; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends that truly loved and adored him.
Corey will always be remembered as a tender, nurturing and loving brother, uncle, cousin, and friend with a glowing spirit. He was naturally talented, ambitious but with a meek personality, a love for people and a natural sense of humor.
