Corey John Beiner

Corey John Beiner, 77, a resident of Leesburg, Florida, passed away at home on Monday, September 29, 2025. Corey was born on February 8, 1948, in Chicago, Illinois, to Arthur John and Helen Marie (nee Zelek) Beiner.

He enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1965, exhibiting courage and dedication to his country during Vietnam. After being honorably discharged from the service in 1969, he worked for G.D. Searle in Skokie, Illinois, and T and F Industries in Rolling Meadows, Illinois. In 1993, he relocated to Winter Garden, Florida, and was employed by the Walt Disney World Company until his retirement in 2012. Corey moved to Leesburg, Florida, in March 2015. Faith was an important part of his life, as he was a devoted member of Faith Lutheran Church in Eustis, Florida.

Corey is survived by his wife, Dawn (nee Wendland) Beiner; daughters, Jennifer (Thomas) Algeri of Winter Springs, Florida; Kristin (Alexander) Farid of Hamburg, Germany and Magala, Spain; and Lisa (Troy) Alford of Magnolia, Texas; grandchildren, Jacob Church of Orlando, Florida, Ryan Algeri and Gianna Algeri of Winter Springs, Florida, and Jasmin Farid of Magala, Spain, Brittany (Ray) Glaze and

T. Michael (Megan) Alford of Magnolia, Texas; four great grandchildren R.J. Glaze and Riley Glaze, Melanie Alford and Mary Alford; three brothers-in law, William Wendland, Gary (Kathleen) Wendland, and Guy (Noriko) Wendland, and one sister-in-law, Melody (Dale) Fair. Corey was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Beiner, his mother, Helen Zelek LaForce, and his half-brother, Glenn Beiner.

A Memorial Service celebrating Corey's life will be held at Faith Lutheran Church in Eustis on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at 11:00 AM, Rev. Marc Kappel officiating. Memorials may be made to Faith Lutheran Church in Eustis, Florida. Arrangements are being handled by Harden/Pauli Funeral Home in Eustis, Florida. Corey Beiner's legacy of love, service, and faith will continue to inspire all who knew him.
