Corey Clark Lynch, born on October 23, 1966, in Raleigh, NC, peacefully passed away on August 28, 2023, in Wilmington, NC. He was surrounded by his loving family during his final moments. Corey was 56 years old at the time of his passing.
Throughout his life, Corey held various jobs, including working as a butcher and delivering flowers at a local florist. His dedication and hard work were evident in all that he did. Corey's passion for music and his talent as a drummer brought joy to those around him. He loved to cook and would often create delicious meals for his family and friends, showcasing his culinary skills.
Corey was a man who cherished his loved ones deeply. His family and friends meant the world to him, and he always made sure to show them how much he cared. He is survived by a son, Daniel Clark Lynch, and his daughter, Kristen Ann Lynch. Corey's brother, Barry L. Lynch, and sister, Joy Coats (Eddie), were also important figures in his life. Additionally, he had a special friend, Wanda O'Neil, who brought happiness into his life, also her daughter Michelle Anthony who was a big help in Corey's life.
Corey will be remembered for his kind heart, infectious laughter, and unwavering love for those around him. His positive spirit and uplifting presence served as an inspiration to all who knew him. While we mourn his loss, we are grateful for the beautiful memories he leaves behind.

A memorial service will be held on 12:00 noon Saturday, September 23, at Calvary Baptist Church In Hamlet, NC
