Mr. Corey Bernard Mangham

Mr. Corey Bernard Mangham was born on September 7, 1978, to Maude A. Dixon-Mangham and Hudson Ford, Sr., in Griffin, Georgia. Corey received his formal education at Griffin Technical College in Griffin, Georgia, where he obtained his GED. He didn't stop there; he furthered his education at Griffin Technical College and received an Associate Diploma in Business Administration.

Corey accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age and later united with Mt. Zion Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Cleopatrick Lacy. Corey was a faithful servant at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, where he remained until his passing. He loved his church and his church family.

Corey was self-employed, he was a very smart and intelligent young man. Corey loved his family, his nieces, and nephews were his heart. They could have whatever they wanted. He absolutely loved them. He enjoyed caring for people, he loved bringing laughter and joy into their lives. He was a member of the Salvation Army in Griffin, Georgia.

On Monday, October 27, 2025, Mr. Corey Bernard Mangham's name was called, and he answered and was set free from all sickness and pain. Rest now in peace and comfort, your journey has ended, battle fought, and victory won. He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Maude A. Dixon-Mangham; maternal grandparents, Pete and Rose Dixon; paternal grandparents, Hudson and Vivian Ford, Sr., his sister, Tangela Ford; aunts, Louise Dixon, Eleanor Phelps, Jeraline Dixon, Marjorie Pickney-James, and Louise Ford-Johnson, and his uncles, Eddie Dixon, James Ford, and Johnny C. Burden.

Mr. Corey Bernard Mangham leaves to cherish his memory, his siblings, Timothy (Arlene) Mangham, Broderick (Brandy) Mangham, Darshun Mangham, Hudson Ford, III, Evangeline (John) Harps, Falangela (Brett) Elsbree, Charlotte Hall and April Hall; aunts and uncles, Sandra (Cavin) Bryant, Evonne (Stanley) Phinazee, Brenda (Sherman) Curtis, Patricia (Travis) Wellmaker, Elaine Pate, and Catherine Burden and his special nephew, who he raised as his own, Juantavious Mangham. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and relatives and friends that will miss him dearly.
