Corey Harris Pandy of Jacksonville, Florida, transitioned to his heavenly home on October 2, 2025. Corey was born on January 1, 1982, to Herman Harris and the late Ruby Lee Pandy.
Corey matriculated through the Duval County school system and was proud to be a Viking of William M. Raines Sr. high school
Corey was a beloved son, brother, Nephew, cousin, and friend. He was a cherished member of a large and loving family. Though he lived with a disability, he faced life with courage, humor, and a joyful spirit that touched everyone who knew him. Family meant everything to him, and he found his greatest happiness in spending time with those he loved, whether gathered for holidays, celebrations, or simple everyday moments.
He enjoyed staying active and engaged in his community, where he built meaningful friendships and participated in activities that brought him fulfillment. He also had a deep love for animals and found purpose in supporting animal rescue efforts, always showing compassion and kindness to every creature he met.
Corey will be remembered for his warm heart, his smile, and the way he brought people together. His legacy of love, resilience, and family will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him.
Corey was predeceased by his mother, Ruby L. Pandy. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, aunts, and uncles. He is survived by his dad, Herman Harris. siblings, Bellissia Bentley (Ronnie), Chris Pandy, and Ruben Pandy, as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who have become family.
