Corine Greene, 95 of Cleveland died Saturday, January 11, 2025. She was the daughter of the late Ruben and Elgie Delainey Turner and was also preceded in death by her husbands, James Goode, James Thompson and Sherman Greene; sons, Arthur Wade Goode, Melvin Eddie Goode and Otis Jay Goode' sister, Myra McKenzie; and brother, Edgar Turner.
She was a member of Temple Baptist Church where she used her musical talents along with her sister, singing and playing the guitar. Mrs. Greene shared her talent of guitar playing by teaching most of her family to play the guitar.
Survivors include her children, Lonnie (Ella) Goode, Donald Goode, Wilma (Ray) Carter, Gary (Charlotte) Goode, and Patty (Ernest Benoit, stepsons, Harold and Howard Thompson. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from noon until 2 P.M. on Wednesday, January 15th, 2025, at Poole Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2 P.M. on Wednesday, January 15th, 2025, in the chapel of the Poole Funeral Home with Rev. Thomas Hindman officiating. Burial will follow in Earl's Cemetery in McDonald, TN.
