Corinne Kennedy

Corinne Kennedy, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, August 9, 2025, in Ocean Grove, New Jersey. She was 87 years old.
Born in Brooklyn, New York, Corinne was a true New Yorker at heart. After Hurricane Sandy, she was transplanted to New Jersey and settled on the Jersey Shore. She had a successful career with Eastern Airlines and later, after dedicating herself to raising her four children, she found great joy working as a Teacher's Aide in the Long Beach, New York school district.
Corinne was the beloved wife of Robert Kennedy for 62 wonderful years. Their marriage was a testament to enduring love and partnership. Corinne's greatest joy in life was her family. She is survived by her devoted husband, Robert; her four children, Robert, Catherine, Edward, and Jennifer; and her twelve adored grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Eugene McCabe of Rochester, New York.
Corinne will be remembered for her kind heart, warm smile, and her love for simple pleasures including her daily morning walks on the boardwalk. She cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren, whether it was at the beach, painting seashells, or the traditional egg toss on the patio, a cherished family tradition. Her memory will be treasured forever by all who knew and loved her.
A Mass in her honor will be held at Saint Jerome's Church of Our Lady of Hope Parish on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at 10 AM at 254 Wall St, West Long Branch, NJ 07764. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association to support their vital work in research, care, and support for those affected by Alzheimer's disease.
