With much love spread and many memories shared, our beloved Cornelius accepted his angel's invitation into the kingdom on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at Cooper Medical Center in
Camden, New Jersey. As a result, our hearts are less bright but we know the heavens are filled with extra doses of love, joy, peace and laughter.
Cornelius Jones Jr. was born on Thursday, December 7, 1961 in
Trenton, New Jersey to Phyllis Mary Jones and Cornelius Jones Sr. He remained in Trenton for most of his adult life before moving to Willingboro and

"Kevin" as he was affectionately called was educated in the Trenton public school system. He played Little League Baseball where he played all the positions. He also boxed for PAL Boxing Club at the Trenton Civic Center. After high school he entered the Army and he was a honorably discharged veteran. He started working prepping cars at an an early age while working with his father at their family owned and operated auto body shop. Kevin later worked at Maaco most of his adult life. After being employed by Maaco, Kevin relocated and worked for Carvana before he became ill.
In his leisure time, he enjoyed fishing and watching the news. He also enjoyed watching sports, especially football. He was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Eagles. His passion was playing the drums, and Cornelius played in several bands. He attended Trenton Deliverance Center where he was baptized at an early age. He loved the Lord. He was the real deal Holyfield, (in his voice)!
