Cory Wayne Anthony

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the unexpected passing of Cory Wayne Anthony at the age of 39. Cory was the beloved husband of Megan Anthony, with whom he shared almost 10 years of marriage with this coming April. 

Cory was known to many people for his unique sense of humor. Cory had a love for scuba diving, a passion for beer making and a recent new found interest in bee keeping. Cory had a love for traveling and exploring. Cory had a love for our cats and dogs. Levi (our Australian Shepherd )was his buddy and Cory loved him with all his heart. 

Cory is survived by his wife Megan Anthony; father Mark Anthony and wife Charlene Taylor; sister Brittany Anderson and her husband Doug Anderson; step dad Scott Guillion; grandmother Vivian Anthony; grandmother Marjorie George; aunt and uncle Buzzy Anthony and Barbara George Anthony; cousin Carla and significant other Greta; cousin Devina and her two children. 

Cory is preceded in death by his mother Karyn Guillon, aunt Pam and both grandfathers 

Psalm 147:3: "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." 

Services will be held at United Methodist Church in Zachary on Monday February 10th. Doors open at noon with service to begin at 1pm.  4205 Church Street Zachary, LA 70791
