Cory Ambrose Buckman, 60, passed away April 11, 2025. Cory was a dedicated son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend.

Cory was known for having a big heart. He was always helping a friend or neighbor in need.

He deeply loved his family, especially his nieces and nephews. He also loved watching all sports, reading about history, and fixing anything that
had a motor.

Cory is survived by his mother, Sherry Buckman; brothers, Chris (Cathy) and Curt (Theo); sisters, Melissa (Dean) and Julie; nephews, Ryan, Kyle, Landon, Collin and Garrett; and nieces, Hayley, Kayla, Alivia, Alli and Kendall. He is also survived by several great nieces and nephews.

Cory was preceded in death by his father, Ambrose Buckman.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you extend your heart and donations to NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Health) of greater Kansas City.

Though our hearts are sad we are grateful that he is at peace.

Visitation will be Monday, May 19, 2025 at 10 a.m. with service to follow at 11 a.m. at St James Catholic Church in Liberty, MO.

Arrangements are in care of Bross & Spidle Funeral Home, Excelsior Springs.
