Hendersonville Memory Gardens, Funeral Home, & Cremation CenterDavid Buckman ,76 of Queen Creek, AZ. passed away on August 6, 2025 at Gifts of Grace assisted living. David was born in Beach, North Dakota on February 8, 1949, to Watson Buckman and Sylvia Jack Buckman.
David graduated High School at Grand Ledge Academy. He graduated college at Andrews University. Then he went on to graduate and get his Doctorate of Medicine at Loma Linda University. He married Dorothy Caviness in Lansing, Michigan in 1975. He spent 45 years serving in private practice, then as an emergency room physician, occupational medicine and as an urgent care physician. Besides caring for and treating people David loved music, biking, bird watching, working in the yard, Bible study, serving at the church and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded by his wife Dorothy and two brothers Ronald and Robert Buckman. He is survived by daughters Jeanne Jones (Jeff) of Hendersonville, TN. and Ladele Shaw (Raymond) of Queen Creek, AZ. He is also survived by multiple grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday September 19, 2025, from 5-7 P M at Hendersonville Memory Gardens. Memorial service is September 20, 2025, at 2 P M at Hendersonville Seventh Day Adventist Church with burial immediately following.
Flowers are welcome. Donations may be sent to Christian Record Services.
