Cozie May Roller, 88, of Rogers, Arkansas, passed away on July 29, 2025, at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville. She was born on January 24, 1937, in Pea Ridge, Arkansas, to Andrew Jackson Russell and Eleanor Lee Jackman Russell.
Cozie graduated from Sparks School of Nursing in 1959, thanks to the generous financial support of Dr. Coy Kaylor, who funded her entire nursing education. She went on to dedicate 40 years of her life to nursing, working as a registered nurse with compassion and commitment.
She found joy in watching tv, cheering on her beloved Razorbacks, tending to her garden, spending time with her family and friends, dancing, and roller skating. Her warmth, energy, and love of life touched everyone who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings Anna Lee Bowman, Charlene Hill, Virginia Stamps, Dale Russell, and Christine Capps.
Cozie is survived by her children: David Roller (Marion), Glen Roller (Kerri), and Karen Morgan (Mark); her brother, Andrew Jackson Russell, Jr. (Cathey); and her grandchildren, Jason Roller and Elizabeth Wilson (Josh).
The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the staff at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville for their compassionate care during Cozie's final days.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 1, 2025, at Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th Street, Rogers. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the funeral home. Private interment will be at Rogers Cemetery, Rogers, Arkansas.
