Services for CPT Pedro Alejandro Sainz will be held Thursday, August 7, 2025, 10:00 a.m., at the Mississippi Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Webb & Stephens Funeral Home is honored be entrusted with arrangements.
Pedro Alejandro Sainz, known lovingly as Alex, passed away on July 16, 2025, at the age of 28.
Born on April 18, 1997, Alex was a beloved husband, son, brother, and friend.
Alex was an amazing, loving, and supportive husband. His goofiness brought laughter into every day, and his heart was full of kindness and love. He made it so easy to be best friends-there was never a dull moment with him. Always thinking of others, he constantly found ways to make life easier for those he loved.
Life growing up wasn't always easy, but no matter what, Alex was always a clown-he loved causing mischief, making people laugh, and bringing energy to every room. Sometimes it was like he just got bored and wanted to stir things up just to see what would happen. He could get along with almost anyone and had a gift for fitting right in. He was someone people could talk to easily and open up to without fear of judgment.
If Alex wanted something, he chased it with everything he had. No excuses-he went after his goals with determination and persistence.
Alex had a generous spirit, a fierce loyalty to the people he cared about, and a deep capacity for love. His presence lit up every room, and his absence is deeply felt by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Caitlynn Sainz; mother, Perla Yolanda Diaz-Rivera; brother, Abdiel David Diaz; special cousins, Andrea, Selena, and Vivian; special friends, Jonas Thissen, Tony Riasco, Camilo Hernandez, and Ryan Costea; as well as numerous extended family and friends.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, August 7, 2025, from 12:00-2:00 p.m. at Webb & Stephens Funeral Home-North.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention at www.988lifeline.org.
