Craig DeLany, beloved son, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away on Thursday, August 1, 2024 at his home in Branson.
Craig Lee DeLany was born on September 7, 1959 in Torrance, California. He graduated from Arroyo Grande High School in California and played basketball during his time there. Craig lived in various places in California before moving to Florida and later to Missouri while also spending time in Arizona.
Craig was an extremely talented and gifted musician. He played keyboards and the piano as well as being an accomplished vocalist. He enjoyed his career in the music business as both a performer and later as a sound engineer with different Branson theaters including Kirby VanBurch.
Craig was also a devoted father and loved time with his family. He enjoyed staying active by enjoying various outdoor activities, especially playing tennis.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jay DeLany.
Craig will be deeply missed by his daughters, Danielle Sharpe and husband Chris of Branson and Kirstie DeLany of Florida; his mother, Norma DeLany of Branson; his siblings, Rick DeLany, Chris DeLany and Michele DeLany all of California and Debi DeLany of Forsyth, MO along with his cherished granddaughter, Brooklyn Halsted.
Services are in the care of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home & Crematory, Branson.
