Born on July 30, 1945, in Oceanside, NY, Craig dedicated over 50 years of his life to the advancement of education and the nurturing of future generations in his role as the Dean of the Health Technology and Management Department at Stony Brook University.
Throughout his illustrious career, Craig was recognized for his commitment to excellence in academia. His leadership and vision not only shaped the department but also left a lasting impact on countless students and colleagues. His contributions to the field were acknowledged widely, inspiring those who had the privilege of knowing him.
Craig is survived by his beloved wife, Susan M. Lehmann, with whom he shared 57 years of marriage, representing a bond filled with love and companionship. He is also survived by his sons, Aaron Lehmann and Jason Lehmann, along with Jason's wife, Kathleen. Craig's family was his pride and joy, and he cherished every moment spent with them.
He will be remembered not only for his professional achievements but also for his profound kindness, his unwavering dedication to education, and the warmth he brought to all who knew him. Craig’s legacy will continue through the lives he touched, both personally and professionally.
