Craig R. Trude, 74; of Fulton, NY passed after a long illness Thursday, February 27, 2025, at Oswego Hospital, Oswego, NY with his wife and family by his side.
Craig was born in Lyons, NY to the late Leslie and Emogene (Hosford) Trude. He has been a resident of Fulton, NY for most of his life. Mr. Trude was a United States Veteran having served in the Army during the Vietnam War. He worked as a Stone Mason for 11 years prior to working at Nestles Co., Fulton where he retired from in 2002 after 25 years of service. Craig was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially when it included partnering with his wife.
Craig is survived by his wife of 45 years: Mary Trude of Fulton, NY; their sons: Jason (Julie) Trude of Fulton, NY and Craig M. (Desiree) Trude of Granby, NY; his four siblings: Sandy Browning of Fulton, Karen McDonald of Fulton, Michael Trude of Trout Lake, NY and David Trude of Cayuga, NY. He is also survived by his six beloved grandchildren: Cyrus, Aiden, Riley, Haley, Matthew and Madison, great grandchild: Alayna and several nieces and nephews.
Calling Hours will be conducted at 4:00 to 6:00 PM Tuesday at the Sugar Funeral Home Inc., 224 W. 2nd St. S., Fulton.
A Funeral Service will follow at 6:00 PM in the funeral home with Deacon Jeff Dean officiating.
Burial will be held privately.
