A memorial service to celebrate and remember the life of Shana Marie Trude will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 11, 2025, at the Chelsea United Pentecostal Church. Shana passed away in Bernice, OK on Tuesday, September 30, 2025. She was 20 years old.

Born in Wauseon, Ohio on February 1, 2005, to Danielle Peters and Ryan Lilly. Shana or "Shay-Shay" was the daughter of David and Sherry Trude. Shana was raised and educated in Chelsea and graduated from Chelsea High School in 2024. During her high school days, she was a proud member of the Pride of the Dragon Marching Band. Shana played both the saxophone and clarinet. She attended Northeast Area Vo-Tech where she received her certificate as a CNA. Shana loved caring for the elderly and worked at Senior Suites and Franciscan Villa in Broken Arrow, OK.

Like any other 20-year-old, Shana loved to listen to music and sleep according to her family. She listened to a wide array of music but two of her favorite groups were Little Peep and Yung Blud. Shana enjoyed going to camps and would quickly have her bag packed and ready for not only church camp, but 4H camp as well. The camps offered Shana the much-needed time to socialize and be around people. Hello Kitty, Chocolate coffee, and a warm fuzzy blanket or hat were her favorite things. A collector of hats and stuffed animals, Shana also had an artistic gift. She liked to draw, color, and paint and according to her mother she now holds those works of art from Shana as priceless. No story about Shana would be complete without mentioning the unique bond she had with her dad. She was a Daddy's Girl. They were both huge Sooner fans and would always watch the games together. They liked playing sports trivia games and Shana certainly knew the answer. Their favorite movie was Sky High and they would watch it on a regular basis. Only to be followed by her dad mimicking the part where it said, "Daddy's Little Girl" and surprising enough he did a great job.

Shana, though her life was brief, has left a huge legacy and footprint that will live on in the lives of her family and friends. Shana always had a beautiful smile and is survived by her parents, brothers and sisters, Steven Trude, Jazmine Lilly, Ryan Lilly II, Cayden Boellner, David Lilly, Trinity Lilly, and Grace Lilly, niece, Romalee Schutz, paternal grandparents, David Trude Sr., Cindy Lilly, and Dana Lilly. Maternal grandmother, Sharon Peters. Shana was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Carolyn Jean Trude and her maternal grandparents, Robert and Marie Harrell.
