Crista L. Valence

Crista Lynn Valence, age 29, of Nixa, MO., departed this life on April 30, 2023, at her home. She was born to Alan Combs and Donna (Pritchard) Combs on June 23, 1993, in Springfield, Missouri.
Crista was a 2011 graduate of Spokane High School, where she was active in volleyball and basketball. Some of Crista's friends described her as a great friend, a lot of fun to be around, always smiling and so sweet, and giving great big hugs. Crista loved her daughter Lauren with her whole heart and was the love of her life.
Crista is survived by her parents Alan and Donna Combs of Spokane; daughter Lauren Valence of Norwood; brother Cody Marshall of Springfield; three sisters, Ashley Reynolds of Oldfield, Brandi Bennett of Taneyville, and Amy Nystrom Combs of Ferndale; friend Adam Coats of Highlandville, along with a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
She is preceded in death by her adored great-grandparents Gertie and Efton Pritchard, biological mother Regina Fielden and her son Dallas Valence.
In lieu of flowers, family request that memorial donations be given to Alan and Donna Combs to help pay for expenses. They lost a beautiful daughter.
A Celebration of life will be held for Crista on Saturday, May 13, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at Ponce Pentecostal Church, Ponce De Leon, MO., with Pastor Gayle Cobb officiating.
