Kelly Beth Valence

Kelly Beth Valence, 51, of Coal Center, passed away on Monday, July 21, 2025 in her home. The daughter of the late Jeffrey Thompson and Diane (Hartbarger) Thompson who survives and resides in Belle Vernon, she was born on April 2, 1974 in N. Charleroi. Formerly of Belle Vernon, Kelly has been a resident of Coal Center for the past 15 years. She earned her Master's degree in 2007 from the Katy School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh. Formerly employed at EQT, Kelly had been employed by C&X (Consol Energy) as an accountant for the past 7 years. She will be missed by all her family and friends. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 20 years, Jason P. Valence, a son, Tristan Valence at home, and two brothers and sisters in-law, Chris and Rachel Thompson of York, PA and Chad and Roseann Thompson of Washington, PA. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Brad Thompson in 2017.
