Cruz Hernandez Paiz Sr was born on July 13, 1941 in Mathis, Texas. Cruz grew up closely with both of his brothers David and Elias Paiz. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Victoria G Paiz, whom he spent all his time with. One of their favorite past times was playing bingo and dancing together.
He is survived by his Brother, David (Rosa) Paiz; His children, Cruz Paiz Jr, Diana Paiz, Sally Paiz, Sandra Garza, Richard Gonzales, and David Gonzales. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Mary Jane.
His many beloved grandchildren and great grand children whom he treasured deeply. Cruz was a very hard working man, that always provided for his family. Cruz was a businessman and entrepreneur whom operated a successful trucking business and fruit stand for many years. He had many friends and colleagues. Cruz loved eating with his family and sharing memories of the his past. He was known for his green thumb he loved gardening growing different plants, flowers, and produce. He always made sure his family knew how important it was to eat fruits and vegetables. Cruz was well-known for his generosity and hospitality he always made everyone feel welcomed and loved. He will be missed dearly by his loved ones that will keep his memory and love alive.
