In Loving memory of Crystal Ann Breese
(November 26, 1984 – August 30, 2025)
It is with heavy hearts we announce the unexpected and untimely passing of Crystal A. Breese on August 30, 2025, at the age of 40. She resided in East Taunton, Massachusetts.
Born in Stoughton on November 26, 1984. Crystal was the beloved daughter of the late Thomas and Christina (Closson) Breese of Brockton, and the stepdaughter of Wayne Horton of Taunton. She is survived by her brother, Robert and wife Angela Breese of Bridgewater, stepsisters Kayla and Elyse Horton of Brockton, and her nephews, Robert Jr and Tyler Breese, and Jeron Horton. She was predeceased by her grandparents, Robert & Anna (Cappelletti) Closson, and Walter & Evelyn (Dinsmore) Breese, whom she loved deeply and carried in her heart. She also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends. Crystal remained friends from childhood into adulthood with her best friend Lindsey Lesser. Those who knew her will forever cherish her memory and the light she brought into their lives.
Crystal grew up in Rockland before moving to Canton and then Brockton where she graduated from Brockton High School. She was known for her selfless nature and giving spirit. She would give the shirt off her back to help anyone in need, even if it meant going without herself. Her heart was open to all, and her love and empathy left a lasting impact of everyone who knew her. She was very outgoing and tenacious, and she was very much a people person. Above all, Crystal was a devoted and loving mother to her three beautiful children, Alijah, Gianna, and Aaliyah, who were her entire world. Her love for them was unconditional and her legacy will live on through their lives. Crystal's baby daughter Aaliyah was born on her birthday, and she believed it was the greatest gift to ever receive.
After graduating from Brockton High school Crystal worked as a CNA working in local nursing homes and doing private care. Her calling was to become a Nurse. She attended the Bristol-Plymouth Nursing Program. It was her lifelong dream to help others, and she lived that dream everyday through her compassion, generosity, and kindness. Crystal also loved working with her Poshmark friends doing online sales. She had that knack and gift of gab for doing online sales, and she made many friends. Crystal will be forever loved, deeply missed and never forgotten.
Crystal loved spending time with family especially cookouts and camping. She also loved to cook with her children, doing arts & crafts with them, and listening to 80's R&B music.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Go Fund Me account in memory of Crystal Breese, set up at North Easton Savings Bank on 570 Washington St., Whitman, Massachusetts, where all proceeds will go to helping with the ongoing needs of Crystal's children.
Family & Friends are invited to visiting hours which will be held on Saturday, September 13, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont Street, Brockton. A brief funeral service will take place at the funeral home following visiting hours. Crystal will be cremated, and a burial will be held at a later time.
