Crystal Louise Burg

Crystal Louise Handel, age 67 of Hartford, Wisconsin passed away peacefully Thursday, September 7, 2023, surrounded by her beloved husband and dear family, after 1.5-year battle with cancer, at the Kathy Hospice in West Bend, WI.
Crystal was born September 15, 1955 to Dorothy Norma Erma (nee Sell) and George James Handel at St. Joseph's Hospital in Hartford and where she was a lifelong resident. She worked for multiple manufacturing businesses in the area for 45 years, including Server Products (20 years), Libby's, Micro Design, and Westbar in West Bend, and hardly missed a day of work! Crystal was united in marriage to Darnell J. Burg on June 15, 1996 at Peace Lutheran Church, Hartford. Crystal enjoyed family gatherings, planting and gardening, and arts and crafts with her friends.
Crystal is survived by her beloved husband and best friend of 27+ years, Darnell; dear brother, Terry Handel and dear sister-in-law, Linda Handel, both of Arizona. She is further survived by several loved nieces and nephews, Darnell's family, other relatives and cherished friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy N.E.(nee Sell) and George J. and brother, Michael J. Handel.
Funeral Services for Crystal will be held Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. at Peace Lutheran Church, 1001 Center Street, Hartford, WI 53027 with Rev. Joshua Hanson officiating. Family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. -4:45 p.m. Interment at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Hartford, WI, Thursday, September 14, 2023, 10:00 a.m.
