Crystal Burns, 49, of Clinton Township, passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2026. She was born on March 18, 1976, in Detroit, Michigan.

Crystal was truly one of a kind. She loved all animals and had a soft spot for any creature that needed care or compassion. Her heart was big, her energy was contagious, and her presence impossible to ignore. She had a huge personality - a true firecracker - full of life and always ready to turn an ordinary moment into something unforgettable. Crystal was often the life of the party, bringing laughter, bold honesty, and a spark that lit up every room she entered.

She found joy in the outdoors and appreciated the simple pleasures of life. Beneath her bold exterior was a beautiful person with a genuinely good heart. Crystal loved fiercely, protected those she cared about, and never pretended to be anything other than exactly who she was. She could be tough and outspoken, but that was part of what made her real - she lived authentically and unapologetically.

Crystal's spirit, laughter, and unforgettable personality will be missed more than words can express. She leaves behind memories that will be cherished forever by all who knew and loved her.

Though she is no longer with us, her fire, her love, and her larger-than-life presence will live on in the hearts of those she touched.

She will be missed forever by her husband of 13 years, Brian; parents, Yvonne and Ed Mazzonne; siblings, Beverly Pensko, Melissa Vandekerckhove, Alan (Jennifer) Danielczyk, Alex (Danielle) Mazzonne, and Kelly (Ryan) Schrader; nieces and nephews, Joshua Crawford II, Jorgianna Crawford, Jayden Dewicki, Gianna Bostwick, Marley Mazzonne, and Dominic Mazzonne; her beloved dog, Duke and loving cat, Lucky; as well as many friends and extended family.
